Privacy policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
This website is a portfolio. It has no forms, user accounts, cookies, analytics or advertising tools. Below I explain what data may be processed when you visit it or get in touch with me.
01Data controller
The data controller is Motion Factory Marcin Sowa, Powstańców Warszawy 29, 33-100 Tarnów, NIP 9930526801.
Contact: marcinsowa@me.com, +48 664 333 006.
02Contact by email, phone or Instagram
When you write or call, I process the data you provide — usually your name, email address, phone number, company name and the content of your message.
Purpose and legal basis: replying to your message and preparing an offer (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), handling correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest), and, if we work together, performing the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and meeting accounting and tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Providing data is voluntary, but without it I cannot reply.
03Visiting the website and hosting
The website is hosted by Cloudflare. On each visit the server technically processes your IP address and basic browser data (logs) to deliver the site and protect it against abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
I do not use analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics), advertising pixels or profiling.
04Cookies and browser storage
This website does not use cookies, so there is no consent banner.
Your browser storage (localStorage) only keeps your chosen portfolio view (Grid or List) and your language, if you pick one with the PL/EN switch. This information is never sent anywhere and you can remove it by clearing the site data in your browser.
If your browser language is not Polish, the site shows the English version straight away. This check happens only in your browser — nothing is stored or sent.
05Videos from Vimeo and YouTube
Videos are shown as a thumbnail. The Vimeo or YouTube player only loads after you click "Play" — no data is sent to them before that. After you click, Vimeo or Google (YouTube) process data under their own privacy policies; I use their reduced-tracking modes (Vimeo "do not track", youtube-nocookie.com).
06Recipients and transfers outside the EEA
Data may be shared with the providers I use: Cloudflare (hosting), Apple (iCloud Mail), my accounting office (if we work together) and, after you click a video, Vimeo or Google.
Some of them are based in the USA. Transfers rely on the European Commission decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.
07How long I keep data
Correspondence — until the conversation ends or, if we work together, until claims become time-barred. Accounting documents — 5 years from the end of the tax year. Server logs — for the short period set by Cloudflare.
08Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Just email me at the address above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).
